We are meeting in the upper parking lot at Rivers Edge Elementary School on Saturday, November 1st at 9:30 am. After refreshments we will organize, and then head out to the communities to pickup the bags. Of course, the more folks we have the faster it will go! It should last 1 to 2 hours. Please RSVP!. Thank you to everyone who delivered grocery bags to homes last Saturday!
On Saturday, November 5, we will return to the neighborhoods to collect any filled bags that have been placed on front porches. Parents need to accompany the scouts in walking the neighborhoods and Scouts need to wear Class A uniform.
This important community service project is designed to fight hunger locally by helping to fill the shelves of neighborhood food banks.
