Scout Sunday is coming! What is Scout Sunday you ask? The Boy Scouts of America annually celebrates its founding on February 8, 1910, based on the program started by Lord Baden Powell in England on August 1, 1907. Scout Sunday began being celebrated in the middle 1940s. Scout Sunday is always the Sunday proceeding February 8th, unless the 8th is a Sunday, in which case the 8th would be Scout Sunday. The Saturday following February 8th is Scout Sabbath.

Scout Sunday: February 12 at Christ Church Episcopal

REMINDER!

The annual Scout Sunday is coming up on February 12, 2023 at the 9AM service! This is an opportunity for Pack 788 to be recognized by our chartered organization, Christ Church Episcopal (CCE), in front of the congregation, as well as a chance for our scouts to give back during the services as our small way of saying "thank you" for all CCE does for us throughout the year.
