We can't wait to see all of the AWESOME Pinewood Derby cars race THIS SATURDAY!
The derby will be held in The Garage building at Christ Church on Saturday, January 21. Doors open at 8:00 AM!
The 2017 Pinewood Derby will be raced as a Round Robin event. All cars will be raced in the first heat and will be run on each of the four lanes on the track. The sixteen fastest cars will advance to the semi-finals and the top three will then compete for 1st, 2nd and 3rd place overall.
The Pinewood Derby might be a couple of months away - but it's never too early to start researching design plans for that perfect car!
The derby kickoff movie night is scheduled for Friday, December 9.
All registered scouts will receive a Pinewood Derby car kit (wood block, wheels and axles) for free. Additional car kits for parents and siblings can be purchased.

The 2024 Pinewood Derby Season kicked off at our 12/18 pack meeting when car kits were handed out. If you were not able to attend but would like a car kit for your scout, parents, or siblings (parent sibling kits cost $7 each), they will be available at the 1/8 den meetings. If you want to take advantage of the winter break to build your car, please contact Cubmaster Dan (brosnihan@gmail.com) to coordinate a pick-up time.
